Cypress Junior Cotillion is meeting at Rock Creek for the missed cotillion date due to Hurricane Ike at:
7pm to 8:30pm on Wednesday, November 19th
If you need to contact Mrs. Gill, she can be reached at
cgill@cypressjuniorcotillion.com or 713-594-3634. |
Your child will
enjoy a cotillion experience that enables boys and girls—ages 12
and 13—the opportunity to develop excellent social skills, build
solid foundations for learning and using proper social behaviors,
good manners and etiquette and building good character.
We go beyond the formal dances and waltz lessons of your average Junior Cotillion...

Cypress Junior Cotillion is unique because we also include courses that help our students confidently handle themselves in situations they face socially in their every day lives. We cover netiquette, interacting with parents respectfully and the issues boys and girls will face in their near future that are stepping stones to their adult lives.
The goal of
the Cypress Junior Cotillion is to help develop young people’s
self-esteem and confidence, and become socially comfortable and
proficient in handling a myriad of social interactions and situations.
During the nine
meetings, they will enjoy learning a variety of dances such as the
Waltz, Rumba, the Jitterbug/ Swing, Foxtrot, Polka / Salsa, FreeStyle
Dancing and Hip Hop. These dances will be taught in a fun setting
by a professional instructor in the Houston area. We host special events every session where our students will
get to put their social and dance skills to use, including a sit down dinner and ball. The culmination of all
the dances and lessons learned will be presented at the Cypress
Junior Cotillion Ball in May and is, without a doubt, a social event not to be missed!
